The FIS program at IUPUI is still very young, having been started in 2003. We don’t have too many alumni yet but already, several of our graduates have obtained jobs in forensic science and related laboratories. You can see a list of our placements on this page of the website. Of course, our main goal is to educate students who are able to obtain employment in a forensic science laboratory but we recognize that this is not necessarily for everyone. Our students graduate with a strong background in science and are prepared academically for many scientific or professional careers including law, medicine, science Ph.D. and many others.

We hope that, as alumni, you will remember the opportunities given you by the strong science curriculum and that you will remember future students and consider lending a helping hand by giving to the program, helping future alumni with networking and coming back to talk to our students and relate your journey.
